BayCare Sports Medicine Conference Focuses on the Female Athlete
The female athlete faces unique needs and challenges. This special conference will focus on those needs and offer advice and insight on several important topics, including the female triad, identifying and treating common sports injuries, the effects of alcohol and substances on performance, and training techniques. Sports medicine physicians and clinicians will present on these and many more topics, as well as our keynote speaker, Cynthia Sass, MPH, MA RD, CSSD, who will discuss proper nutrition for the female athlete.
